This edits the aiempire.wtf file. The descriptions were taken from that file.

I'm not sure the default values have much if any impact.

For audience which means diplomatic contact, I can tell you that "incident" refers to diplomatic messages. The higher the number the more the request or gift influences their mood. So they get mood swings, they are easier to bring on your side, but also quicker to stab you in the back. So it's a double edged sword.

You'll have to test yourself what the rest mean.

edit buildings

is there a way to create new building structures or copy existing ones in UE, the same way you can with copying & adding new ships

Not at this time, only changing the ones already on list is possible.

This can be done many ways, but my attempts at major changes has failed.

if you are not wanting to try to edit manned structures you are very limited :wink:

One way is to edit structures so more are shared for all races.

The other way would be to hex edit trek.exe so food output will increase more per tech and only use 1 structure per race. This will free up 40 structure for special uses. But may cause upgrade problems for minors. (this is problem I am still having, but I am tring 5 tech upgrades per manned group not only manned food). Gowron has this type of changes already in use in balance of power.

Just want to ask a stupid question......

I love the ships in Jigg's Stargate mod, and want to put one or two intomy copy of UDM for my own perverted pleasure :)

But UE can not find their models?
Any Idea how I can export them into a ship pack?
Like the bad guy from so many horror films,

Ships without phasers and not registered in trek.exe won't show up on the list. You'll need to copy their files and register textures manually.

Hi Everyone,

Look what I found in UE :D :D :D :D :D

In latest dev version of UE (dev12a) DCER has added galaxy generation :D

I have also added a tutorial on how to use galaxy generation and new value chart in "content"

Large Map Generation Chart and tutorial for UE

also you will notice I have started putting other tutorials in content :wink:

I want to thank DCER, Gowron, Spocks-cuddly-tribble and everyone else involved. This is really a great site :lol:

Remember the good old days of Vanilla BOTF? The Galaxy, Ambassador, and Miranda were the most useless pieces of garbage you could have in the Federation Fleet. Everyone was left wondering, where's the rollbar on the Miranda and where the heck is the Excelsior Class?

Only a few Klingon ships could cloak, the Ferengi had more money than ever, and the Romulans be cruising around in your space destroying bases with Battlecruiser II's.

Now weve got more ships than we know what to do with and the ability to generate galaxies larger than the actual universe itself. :lol:

If the original team that created BOTF would download UDM dev 3 and play it, they'd probably fall on their a***s.

Major gaming companies should hire you guys to create the new Star Trek games....'cause you know what Fans want as a game.

Those ships do not have hardpoints as it had not been discovered when i made that mod.
Which ships do you want? I have a fair few remade and can send them to you if you want.

Hy thunderchero, where I can download this new version of the UE? (UE 0.7.0dev12), in the download page only have the 6.9 version...
This will be great, not spending a lot of time unpuzzle the hex editor....!
